Editorial & Review Policy
“We document public information and show user reviews; we don’t pass judgment on people.”
1. Editorial information
- We only collect information that is publicly available: professional activity, projects, companies, content, courses, mentorships and official channels.
- Relevant facts come with their source and the date they were checked. If a price isn’t public, we mark it as “Not published”. We don’t make up information.
- We use neutral language. We don’t use labels such as “scammer”, “fraud” or similar.
- We don’t collect unnecessary personal information (home address, family, private data).
2. User reviews
- Reviews are written by Mentor Explorer users and reflect their personal experience. They are always labeled as opinions and do not represent the site’s position.
- Every review goes through an automatic filter when submitted. Reviews containing serious accusations, offensive language, links, contact details or signs of spam are held until we review them manually; the rest are published immediately.
- We don’t publish serious accusations without documentary evidence, third parties’ personal data, offensive content, spam, or reviews that appear to be written by the mentor or by competitors.
- Each profile shows reviews written from any language version of the site, in the language they were written in, without translation.
- The overall rating is the average of approved reviews on the platform. It is not a ranking or an editorial recommendation.
- Any review can be reported using the “Report” link. We review reports manually.
3. Corrections and profile claims
Every profile includes the option “Are you this person, or is something wrong?”. We handle correction requests, link updates and ownership claims. Claiming a profile has no cost and gives no editorial advantage: it helps improve the quality of the data.
4. Advertising
Any advertising shown comes from Google AdSense and has no influence on profile content. There are no sponsored or paid profiles.
