Legal Notice & Terms of Use
This is a translation of the Spanish legal notice. The site is operated from Spain and governed by Spanish law; in case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
1. Site owner
Mentor Explorer, available at https://mentorexplorer.com, is operated by a private individual. The site carries out no economic activity: it sells no products or services, shows no advertising, earns no affiliate commissions and charges nothing to be listed in or removed from the directory. The contact channel for any matter related to the site is info@mentorexplorer.com.
That address handles every kind of request: corrections, exercise of rights, content removal and press enquiries. It is the same inbox that receives the site’s forms.
2. What this site is and isn’t
Mentor Explorer is an informational directory that collects and structures public information about people who offer training, mentoring or educational content online. Every relevant fact in a profile is published with its source and the date it was checked.
To avoid misunderstandings, here is what this site does not do:
- It has no commercial relationship with the people listed and doesn’t charge them to be listed or removed.
- It doesn’t sell their products, act as an intermediary or earn affiliate commissions on them.
- It doesn’t produce quality rankings or recommend some people over others.
- It provides no financial, legal, health or professional advice of any kind.
The order in which profiles appear follows objective, stated criteria, such as alphabetical order or recorded search volume, never an editorial assessment or any form of payment.
3. Information about identified people
Profiles cover people who carry out a public professional activity and publicize it themselves. Publication is based on freedom of information and on the legitimate interest of anyone considering buying that training, and is limited to the professional sphere: we don’t publish home addresses, family details, health data or financial information the person hasn’t made public themselves.
Claims taken from the promotional material of the person described, such as revenue or student results, are identified as such and not presented as verified facts.
4. User reviews
Reviews are third-party content hosted on the platform. They reflect the experience and views of their authors, not the position of Mentor Explorer, which acts as an intermediary service provider under Spanish Law 34/2002 on information society services.
By submitting a review, the author declares that it is based on real experience, that it is truthful, and that it contains no third parties’ personal data, insults or accusations they cannot back up. All reviews go through a moderation filter under the editorial policy, and may be rejected or removed if they break these rules.
5. Notice and takedown
If you believe any content on this site is unlawful, inaccurate or infringes your rights, whether to honor, privacy, image, data protection or intellectual property, you can report it through any of these channels:
- The “Are you this person, or is something wrong?” link on every profile.
- The report link next to every published review.
- An email to info@mentorexplorer.com.
Please identify the specific content, the reason and, where appropriate, supporting documentation. Every notice is reviewed and answered within a reasonable time. When a claim is well founded, the content is corrected or removed. If content is taken down while a case is examined, this does not imply any admission of unlawfulness.
6. Right of correction
People listed in the directory can correct inaccurate information and provide updated official information through the same channels. Corrections are free and not conditional on any payment, contract or link. Nor do we offer to remove or soften content in exchange for anything: if a fact is correct and of public interest, it stays; if it’s wrong, it gets corrected, full stop.
7. Intellectual property
The editorial texts of the profiles and the site’s other original content belong to its owner. Trademarks, trade names and logos mentioned belong to their respective owners and are cited for identification purposes only, under the right of quotation.
Authors of reviews retain ownership of them and grant Mentor Explorer a non-exclusive, free and revocable license to publish them on the site.
8. Links to third-party sites
The site links to external websites, social networks and sales platforms for informational and verification purposes. Those links imply no association, sponsorship or recommendation, and we are not responsible for the content, terms or availability of those destinations.
9. Disclaimer
The information is provided for informational purposes and may contain errors or become outdated despite verification efforts, which include citing the source and check date of every fact. Published prices correspond to the date shown on the profile and may have changed.
Mentor Explorer does not guarantee the quality, suitability or results of the programs described, and is not liable for purchasing decisions made by visitors. The decision, and verifying it beforehand, always rests with the user.
10. Service availability
The site is provided as is, with no commitment to uninterrupted availability. It may be suspended or changed at any time, including these terms, which are always published on this page with their update date.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be heard by the courts that have jurisdiction under applicable law. Where the user is a consumer, the courts of their place of residence will have jurisdiction.
