Who is Sahil Bloom?

Sahil Bloom is a writer, investor and entrepreneur who publishes on personal development, productivity and wealth, mainly through his newsletter The Curiosity Chronicle. Penguin Random House's author page states that he holds a BA in economics and sociology and an MA in public policy from Stanford University and played four years of college baseball there. His own website says he spent seven years in finance as a vice president at a private equity fund; his UTA Speakers profile names the firm as Altamont Capital Partners.

According to his website, he runs SRB Holdings, a personal holding company whose listed businesses include Wild Roman, Consigliere, Paperboy Studios and The Inflection, and he is the founder and managing partner of SRB Ventures, an early-stage venture fund. His UTA Speakers profile describes Wild Roman as a men's skincare brand launched in late 2025.

The Curiosity Chronicle is free. His website gives two different subscriber figures (800,000+ on the About page and 225,000+ in a sign-up prompt); both are his own claims and no independent figure was found. His YouTube channel @Sahil_Bloom had 60,500 subscribers when read on September 14, 2026. He also has official X, Instagram and LinkedIn accounts linked from his website; follower counts on those were not read.

What he sells today is books, talks and paid one-on-one calls, not courses. The Contact link on his website leads to his page on Intro, a marketplace for paid video calls with experts, where on September 14, 2026 he offered 15-minute one-on-one video sessions at $2,500 each, open to booking requests, on topics listed as the book deal process, book marketing and launch, scaling a personal brand and storytelling principles. The 5 Types of Wealth: A Transformative Guide to Design Your Dream Life was published by Ballantine Books (Penguin Random House) on February 4, 2025, with a US list price of $30.00 in hardcover, 400 pages, plus ebook and author-read audiobook editions. The publisher describes it as an instant New York Times and USA Today bestseller. The book organizes a life plan around five areas: time, social, mental, physical and financial wealth. A companion workbook, The 5 Types of Wealth Life Planner, followed on November 11, 2025 (hardcover, 208 pages, $27.00 list price). Pre-order buyers of the book were offered an ebook of life hacks, access to a digital community and a launch workshop recording as bonuses; that community was not found for sale on its own. He is also booked as a keynote speaker through agencies such as UTA Speakers, which does not publish his fee.

In the past he taught paid cohort courses on Maven: Audience Building, co-taught with Blake Burge, and a guest masterclass in the Build program, whose 2023 cohort cost $1,000. Maven shows both pages as no longer available as of September 14, 2026.

On his reputation: his book received coverage beyond paid promotion, including a CNBC Make It Book Club pick in October 2025 and an interview on The Motley Fool's podcast with Robert Brokamp (April 10, 2025). A search of sec.gov and ftc.gov for his name on September 14, 2026 returned no enforcement action or filing under his name. His SRB Ventures fund was not checked in the SEC's adviser database. No court case under his name was found in the sources reviewed. His birth date is not included because it could not be confirmed in a source that loaded.
