Jim Kwik is an American brain coach, author and podcaster who teaches memory improvement, speed reading and accelerated learning. According to Wikipedia, he was born on July 29, 1973, in Westchester, New York. His own account, repeated in interviews such as a 2015 NextShark profile by Benny Luo, is that a head injury in kindergarten left him with learning difficulties that he later worked through by studying how learning and memory work.
He founded Kwik Learning, which Wikipedia dates to 2001 as a company and 2009 as an online platform; its course offering now trades under the Kwik Brain name at kwikbrain.com. He also hosts the Kwik Brain podcast, which began in 2017 and is distributed on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
His book Limitless: Upgrade Your Brain, Learn Anything Faster, and Unlock Your Exceptional Life was published by Hay House in April 2020 and, according to Wikipedia, appeared on the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestseller lists. His website lists organizations such as the U.S. Air Force, Nike, Google and Marriott as clients, and interviews name public figures he has worked with. These claims come from his own promotional material and interviews based on his account; Mentor Explorer has not found independent confirmation of them. The 2015 NextShark profile is an interview, not an independent review of his methods. Mentor Explorer has not found press coverage from a major outlet that examines his courses specifically, searching news results on September 13, 2026.
