Who is Allie K. Miller?

Allie K. Miller is an American AI business advisor, investor, speaker and instructor. According to Wikipedia, she was born in Los Angeles, holds a BA in Cognitive Science from Dartmouth College (2010) and an MBA from the Wharton School (2017). At IBM she launched the company's first multimodal AI team, working on Watson's image, text and face recognition products; she joined Amazon Web Services in 2019 and became Global Head of Machine Learning for Startups and Venture Capital. No public source consulted gives her date or year of birth.

After AWS she founded Open Machine, an AI advisory firm of which she is CEO. TIME's TIME100 AI 2025 profile (Aimee Groth, August 26, 2025) lists Novartis, CyberArk, ServiceNow and Warner Bros. Discovery among its clients and notes that she has advised Pivotal Ventures and sits on Arianna Huffington's scientific advisory board. She was named to the TIME100 Most Influential People in AI in 2025.

She publishes mainly on LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, and writes the newsletter "AI with ALLIE". Her website states nearly 2 million followers across platforms and calls her the most-followed voice on AI business; that is her own claim, with no independent count. Figures read directly on September 14, 2026: 58.9K YouTube subscribers (@AKMofficial) and 113,400 TikTok followers (@alliekmiller), both accounts linked from her official website.

Her main paid product is the AI-First Academy, a self-paced online course hosted on her own platform (academy.alliekmiller.com) and aimed at non-engineering business professionals. According to its sales page, it has 8 lessons with 52 chapters (under 6 hours), templates and prompt packs, a capstone project, a certificate and lifetime access. The published price is $397 for individual access and $127 per seat for teams of up to 100 seats; company-wide licenses are quoted on request. The page describes the current price as including a "fast action bonus", so it may change. The same page claims "tens of thousands of students" and her LinkedIn headline claims 400K+ students; neither figure has an independent source.

She also teaches on third-party platforms: "How to Use Generative AI: Building an AI-First Mindset" on LinkedIn Learning (about 40 minutes, included with a LinkedIn Learning subscription) and "Achieve More with GenAI" on MasterClass (included with a MasterClass membership). Her earlier cohort course on Maven, "AI for Business Leaders" (40 pre-recorded lessons plus live Q&As), is marked as no longer available; its Maven page shows a 4.6/5 rating from 325 ratings, which are Maven's own enrollment reviews. She also offers free email courses and free recorded Maven lessons, and gives keynotes through speaker bureaus; speaking fees are not published.

On reputation: coverage located consists of the TIME100 AI 2025 profile, an Adweek AI Trailblazers Power 100 listing (2025, cited by Wikipedia) and business press interviews about how she uses AI tools. No FTC action was found under her name or under Open Machine (search of ftc.gov on September 14, 2026). No press report of a lawsuit or regulatory sanction related to her courses was located in the searches made for this profile. She does not offer investment advice, so SEC/FINRA records were not relevant.

Not confirmed: the legal entity and state of registration of Open Machine (only the name appears in her website footer), the price of the discontinued Maven course, and the number of students of the AI-First Academy.
