His official blog lists a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in nutrition, a role as contributing editor and weight loss coach for Men's Health magazine, and a private practice that, according to that same page, has designed programs for recreational, Olympic and professional athletes, naming the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim Mighty Ducks. Those client names come from his own material; no independent source confirming them was located. His ResearchGate profile lists California State University, Northridge as his affiliation. His year of birth and age were not found in any public source.
On the academic side, he is the lead author of the International Society of Sports Nutrition position stand on diets and body composition, published in the Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition on June 14, 2017, with Brad Schoenfeld, Jose Antonio and other co-authors.
He publishes on Instagram as @thealanaragon, with 326K followers read on September 14, 2026, and on X as @TheAlanAragon; both handles are the ones listed on his Huberman Lab guest page.
