Vilma Núñez is a Spanish-language digital marketing consultant, author and educator. She is Dominican: press in her home country places her birth on December 31, 1986, in the Dominican Republic (Revista Mercado, December 22, 2025), which means she turns 40 in 2026. She holds a bachelor's degree in Advertising and a PhD in Advertising and Public Relations from Universidad Camilo José Cela: her dissertation, "Estudio sobre la efectividad de internet en la comercialización de productos turísticos" (a study on the effectiveness of the internet in marketing tourism products), supervised by Francisco Javier Aragón Cánovas, is listed in Dialnet with a 2016 date. She left the Dominican Republic in 2009 and currently lives in Miami, Florida, where her website lists an address at 3933 Biscayne Boulevard.
She launched her marketing blog in 2011. In 2013 it was the most-voted blog among roughly 22,000 entries in the Premios Bitácoras awards, a fact reported by the Dominican newspaper El Dinero in an interview published September 24, 2020. In that same interview she explained that she moved from working at an advertising agency to selling her own training programs once the digital business proved more profitable.
She is the founder and CEO of Grupo Convierte Más, which brings together an agency, online training schools, consulting and software. She is also president (rector) of American Business College, an institution listed in the public registry of Florida's Commission for Independent Education under license number 10191, licensed since August 8, 2022, and with six declared programs (master's degrees in Growth Marketing, Generative Artificial Intelligence and Business Administration, and bachelor's degrees in Political Science, Digital Management and Business Administration). She co-founded Vilma.ai, an AI-powered marketing agency, and is a partner in the video production company Impetus, which she runs with José Villalobos.
She posts on Instagram, where she has 1.2 million followers (as of September 8, 2026); on YouTube, with 361,000 subscribers and 14.3 million total views on a channel opened in March 2008 (as of September 9, 2026); and on TikTok, with 264,300 followers and 1,141 videos (same date). She also maintains Facebook and X profiles, a blog on her website and two podcasts: "Vilma OS" (formerly "Convierte Más con Vilma"), with short episodes about sales, and "El éxito es contagioso", an interview-format show co-produced with José Villalobos.
What she sells falls into four formats. Self-paced courses with immediate access and published prices: the Curso COCO, on co-creation and leadership with artificial intelligence, with eight modules, more than twenty preconfigured GPTs, an interactive e-book structured as a five-day challenge, lifetime access and updates, for $147 (marked down from $197 on the page reviewed in September 2026); and the Curso P.E.P.E., on strategic planning, with twelve modules, spreadsheet templates, a custom GPT and lifetime access, also for $147. Longer certifications with live classes: the Certificación en IA Marketing, a twelve-week program with more than twenty AI agents, three months of Vilma.ai software, mentoring and lifetime access to the school, for $1,497 as a one-time payment, 3 installments of $550 or 6 of $297; and the Doble Certificación en Growth Marketing e Inteligencia Artificial, a three-month program with fourteen disciplines, more than 440 lessons and thirteen weekly live classes, backed by American Business College, for $1,497, 3 installments of $499 or 5 of $299. Individual e-books sold on her own website for between $39 and $100. And individual consulting and mentoring, with no published price: the Convierte Más page describes four formats (one year with a diagnostic session and three follow-up sessions, a three-month intensive, two quarterly in-person workdays, and a consulting option for leadership teams) and asks prospects to request a quote by form, WhatsApp or email. In the 2020 El Dinero interview, Núñez herself put her group and digital mentoring programs at between $5,000 and $10,000; that range dates from 2020 and is not confirmed on any current sales page.
She also offers free material: her website publishes open trainings and courses at no cost, a bundle of thirty downloadable PDF resources and templates, and a blog with marketing articles. There is no free course with a certificate: the free offering consists of the trainings and resources. Her paid e-books are likewise delivered as PDFs from her own website.
She has published more than ten books, almost all self-published or sold as e-books from her own website. The only one found with a traditional publisher is "De invisible a invencible", about personal branding, published by Paidós (Grupo Planeta) in 2024, 288 pages, ISBN 978-607-569-793-2, available in print, digital and audiobook editions. "La brújula de los negocios digitales" is listed on Amazon as an independently published edition (ISBN 9798671846409 for the first edition and 9798301289224 for the second), with no publisher imprint. Her other titles include "Magnetizar", "Triunfagram", "Cómo ser un buen community manager" and the co-authored "Tres damas con marca", written with Fátima Martínez and Ana Zuazo.
Regarding her reputation, the record shows the following. In December 2025, Impetus, the production company in which she is a partner, won four Suncoast Emmy Awards for the commercial "Get Ready to Be Irreplaceable", made for American Business College, in the categories of best commercial, best director, best editing and best writing; this was reported by Diario Libre on December 17, 2025, and Revista Mercado on December 22, 2025. There is earlier press coverage: the El Dinero (Dominican Republic) interview of September 24, 2020, by Danielis Fermín; her appearance on "Vitrina en Vivo", a program of the Colombian newspaper Vanguardia, on November 19, 2020; and the "Conversaciones" segment on Telemundo 51 (Miami) on December 6, 2024. American Business College appears in the registry of Florida's Commission for Independent Education with a current annual license. No court ruling or public sanction has been found against her or her companies. Her Forbes Business Council profile is part of a membership program, not an article by Forbes editorial staff.
Her promotional materials include figures that could not be independently verified and are reported here as her own claims: more than 300,000 newsletter subscribers, more than three million people in her online courses, between 400 and 500 million annual impressions, more than five million podcast downloads and more than eight companies in the group. All of them come from her own website.
