Who is Jeff Su?

Jeff Su is a productivity educator and YouTube creator who teaches professionals how to organize their work with Google Workspace, Notion and AI tools. In his own writing he describes himself as coming from Hong Kong. Before Google he worked as a management consultant in New York City, according to his website. He joined Google in 2016, starting in sales, and left in June 2025 after nine years, as he explained in a post on his site dated June 3, 2025. His academy sales page states that he once ranked first globally in sales for a quarter and was promoted after eight months; these are his own claims and no independent source for them was found. In August 2021 he published the article "How to Write Better Emails at Work" in Harvard Business Review.

His courses are sold under the names Jeff Su Academy (the footer of his Kajabi academy site) and The Cowork Academy. No registered company name appears on either sales page.

His main channel is YouTube (@JeffSu), which showed 1.89 million subscribers and 313 videos when checked on September 14, 2026. The channel was created in 2013 and lists the United States as its country. He also runs a newsletter that his website says has more than 130,000 subscribers, and he links to Instagram (@j.sushie) and LinkedIn from the channel.

He sells two main programs. The Workspace Academy teaches his "CORE workflow" for managing files, tasks, notes and deadlines in Google Workspace: 21 video lessons across four modules, about three hours in total, plus templates and workshops. It costs $329 for the Basics tier and $399 for the Full Stack tier (shown as reduced from $699), with in-company training starting at $22,000. The Cowork Academy teaches how to set up a pre-built "AI Command Center" in Claude Cowork: 23 lessons in eight modules, more than 100 template files and 12 automations. It costs $497 (Basic) or $597 (Core, with future updates), and team implementations start at $30,000. Both are one-time payments with a 30-day refund guarantee that requires completing the course and using the system for two weeks. He also links to a Notion template course, "Build Your Command Center in Notion", sold on PressPlay without a price visible on the page, and to a project management class on Skillshare, which is part of a subscription.

On reputation: apart from his own HBR article, no independent press coverage profiling him was found in the searches for this profile. A web search for his name together with FTC, lawsuit and state attorney general returned no action under his name (searched September 14, 2026). Mentor Explorer did not find a public regulatory decision involving him.
