Who is Colin and Samir?

Colin and Samir is the name under which two American video producers, Colin Rosenblum and Samir Chaudry, publish and sell their work. This page covers both of them together because that is how their channel, courses and press coverage present them. According to Wikipedia, they met in 2012 while building The Lacrosse Network, a digital sports network that Whistle Sports acquired in 2014; they left in 2016 and started their current YouTube channel. Digiday (Tim Peterson, April 12, 2022) reported that by 2019 they were close to quitting and that a Samsung brand ambassador deal in early 2020 stabilized the business, which then had six full-time employees.

Fast Company (KC Ifeanyi, January 17, 2024) names their media startup, which houses their various projects, as The Publish Company. The main channel, @ColinandSamir, is built around long-form interviews with creators such as MrBeast and Emma Chamberlain about how they run their businesses. They also publish The Colin and Samir Show podcast on Spotify and Apple Podcasts, a second YouTube channel (@creatorsupportpod), and a free newsletter, The Publish Press. The main channel showed 1.63 million subscribers when checked on September 16, 2026.

They sell two self-paced video courses through their own Kajabi-hosted site, courses.colinandsamir.com. The YouTube Growth Playbook costs $299 and consists of 19 videos in six chapters on click-through rate, viewer retention and audience conversion, with guest lessons from Ernesto Perez (short-form video) and George Blackman (scriptwriting); the sales page lists a 7-day money-back guarantee and lifetime access. The Brand Deal Blueprint costs $899 and contains 22 pre-recorded videos in three chapters on building a pitch deck, pitching and closing brand deals and renewing them, plus a pitch deck template, a brand contract template, a financial planner and both smaller courses as bonuses. It is aimed at creators who already publish consistently and have done at least one brand deal. Both prices were read on their website on September 16, 2026.

In January 2024 they launched Creator Startup with Kajabi, a 30-day live cohort with group sessions and worksheets that Tubefilter (Sam Gutelle, January 18, 2024) reported cost $1,797; Fast Company described it as their first online course, aimed at creators who had already done brand deals. Their site currently points to a waitlist for their larger creator-business program, and no open cohort or price for it was found on September 16, 2026.

TIME included the duo in its TIME100 Creators list in July 2025 (Leaders category), and Wikipedia records Streamy Award nominations in 2022 and 2023 in the learning and education category. The student results quoted on their sales pages are testimonials they publish themselves, with no independent verification. No FTC action under the names Colin and Samir, Rosenblum or Chaudry was found on ftc.gov when searched on September 16, 2026, and the press coverage located (TIME, Digiday, Tubefilter, Fast Company) describes their media business and courses without reporting disputes over them.

Not confirmed: how many students have bought either course, and whether Creator Startup will run again or at what price.
