Nate Herkelman, known online as Nate Herk, is an American creator and educator who teaches AI automation, with a focus on no-code workflow tools such as n8n and, more recently, Claude Code. According to the About page of his website, he was born in April 2002, is based in Chicago, graduated from the University of Iowa's Tippie College of Business with a double major in Business Analytics and Marketing, and worked as a Business Intelligence Analyst at Goldman Sachs before leaving in November 2024 to work on AI full time.
His website lists AI Automation Society, which he says he founded in October 2024, as his main project, and links to Uppit AI under "Work with Me"; his LinkedIn profile has described him as founder and CEO of Uppit AI. The same About page says he co-founded TrueHorizon AI in January 2025 and exited it in December 2025. The legal entities behind these brands were not confirmed in a state business registry.
