Ben Settle

Ben Settle is an American copywriter who teaches email marketing and copywriting. He describes himself on his website as an educator in email copywriting and says he publishes high-priced books and newsletters about online marketing, writes horror novels and screenplays, and trades options and invests in companies. In a 2016 Mixergy interview he said he grew up in Elgin, Illinois, came to copywriting after an early attempt at screenwriting, and worked as a freelance email copywriter for several years before moving to his own publishing business. An AWAI biography credits him with client work in the golf, weight loss, dating and internet marketing markets; the sales figures attached to that work come from promotional material and have no independent source.

His business operates as Settle, LLC, a domestic limited liability company registered in Oregon on April 23, 2012 (registry number 85141597), with a mailing address in Gold Beach and a principal place of business in Bandon, according to the Oregon Secretary of State business registry data published on data.oregon.gov. His sales pages also list Settle, LLC as the seller. His blog lists The Oregon Eagle newspaper, BerserkerMail and Low Stress Trading as companies he is involved in.

He publishes mainly through a daily email list and the blog at bensettle.com, which also promotes a free mobile app with more than 40 hours of content. In a blog post he wrote that he had deleted his Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook accounts and has no social media presence; the post is undated, so no follower counts are recorded here.

His main paid product is Email Players, a monthly newsletter printed on paper and shipped by mail, with no PDF or digital edition. The official sales page lists it at $97.00 per month, billed monthly, cancellable at any time and with no refunds. A subscription includes a 135-page print manual called the Email Players Skhēma Book, email access to him for marketing questions, discounts on other products and bonus interviews and reports. He also sells Email Players List Swell, a 326-page print book on building an email list, at $641.00 with free worldwide shipping and no refunds; the page says the high price is intended to discourage impulse buyers. He is the author of the book Crypto Copywriting Secrets, sold on Amazon Kindle and other ebook stores.An AWAI profile from 2018 also mentions a program called 10-Minute Workday sold through AWAI and an earlier product, Street Smart Email, no longer on sale.

On subscriber numbers, in the 2016 Mixergy interview he said Email Players had around 400 to 500 subscribers and that the newsletter launched in 2011 with 83; AWAI's 2018 profile cited about 400. These are his own figures and have no independent verification. No FTC action was found under the names Ben Settle or Settle, LLC in a web search run on September 14, 2026; the FTC site search could not be loaded. Mentor Explorer did not find independent press coverage beyond interviews in which he is the guest (Mixergy, AWAI, The Copywriter Club podcast). His current age, his education and the date he left social media could not be confirmed.
