Who is Sarah Chrisp?

Sarah Chrisp is an ecommerce educator based in New Zealand and the face of Wholesale Ted, a YouTube channel and website about running online stores through dropshipping, print-on-demand and wholesale sourcing. According to a Shopify-owned Oberlo podcast episode from September 23, 2022, she started selling online as a teenager: at 15 she resold a video game bought cheaply in the United States, and at 16 she opened her own online store selling imported games and, later, game modding products.

The Wholesale Ted about page describes her as co-founder of the brand and says her original business partner, the "Ted" of the name, moved on to other projects, leaving her as the driving force behind the content. The terms and conditions of her paid course name FC Media Ltd as the operating company and New Zealand law as the governing law; the refund policy lists support hours in New Zealand time.

The Wholesale Ted YouTube channel, joined on November 3, 2014 and listing New Zealand as its country, showed 1.48 million subscribers, 280 videos and about 68 million views when read on September 13, 2026. She also has a personal Instagram account, @sarahchrispy, linked from the Wholesale Ted about page. The website offers a free ebook in exchange for an email address.

Her paid product is The Ecomm Clubhouse, a membership sold at theecommclubhouse.com for $67 USD a month plus applicable local taxes, cancellable at any time. The sales page describes a library of over-the-shoulder, beginner-oriented training videos organized in modules on niche research, AI-assisted design, store setup, upselling, traffic and store management, with a community hosted on Circle. The course terms refer to a 168-hour introductory period after which membership rebills at the full monthly price, and the refund policy allows refunds of any transaction requested within 7 days (168 hours), provided the member cancels first and emails the two listed addresses; requests after that window are not refunded. The sales page says Sarah is a Shopify Commerce Coach and a Shopify Trusted Course Creator, and the about page calls the course Shopify Education Partner Approved; these are the company's own statements and were not checked against a Shopify listing. The sales page carries an earnings disclaimer describing the results it shows as atypical.

On reputation: the Wholesale Ted about page says the brand has been featured in Shopify, Entrepreneur, Business Insider and Forbes. The Entrepreneur piece located, from February 19, 2020, is an interview in the member showcase series of The Oracles, a membership network, so it is not independent reporting. A web search on September 13, 2026 for her name, Wholesale Ted and FC Media Ltd together with "FTC" and "Commerce Commission" (New Zealand's consumer regulator) returned no enforcement action or court case. The New Zealand Companies Register entry for FC Media Ltd could not be read, so its directors and registration details are not confirmed here.
