Kamil Sattar, full name Mohammed Kamil Sattar, is a British ecommerce entrepreneur who publishes under the name The Ecom King. The description of his own YouTube channel gives his date of birth as May 10, 1999 and describes him as a British Pakistani ecommerce entrepreneur; the UK Companies House register lists a director named Mohammed Kamil Sattar, born May 1999, for E-commerce Mentoring Ltd. In an October 2022 Shopify interview he said he started dropshipping in 2017, lost a few thousand dollars in his first year and passed $1 million in revenue the following year. These revenue figures are his own and no independent source confirms them.
His education business runs through E-commerce Mentoring Ltd (company number 12220478), incorporated in England on September 21, 2019 and listed as active on Companies House when checked on September 14, 2026, with Mohammed Kamil Sattar as a director. Companies House lists further active directorships under the same name and birth month, including MKS99 Holdings Ltd, Kimesca Ltd and Flare Fusion Media Ltd; their activity is not described in his own communication. His YouTube channel also states that his companies have combined sales of more than $20,000,000, a self-reported figure without independent confirmation.
His main channel, THE ECOM KING, joined YouTube in March 2018 and showed 620,000 subscribers, 953 videos and 38.5 million total views when read on September 14, 2026. The channel lists the United Kingdom as its country. Each year he publishes a long free dropshipping course on YouTube; his X account announced the 2026 edition as a seven-hour video. The channel description also carries affiliate and partner links to Shopify and several ecommerce apps.
The paid offer is a six-week mentorship sold at e-commercementoring.com, which his YouTube channel links to. The site lists two tiers: AI Ecom Command: Launch at $2,500, with one private review call per week, Telegram support and video lessons; and 1-to-1 AI Ecommerce Mentorship at $5,000, with three live one-to-one calls per week (18 in total). Access is by application, which the site says is reviewed before a fit call is offered. The site states that the weekly calls are delivered by two mentors, Inder and Nail, described as former students, and that Kamil Sattar designs the programme, trains the mentors and reviews their work but does not conduct the student calls. The site says operating costs such as ads and software are separate and recommends having at least $1,000 for the business itself. Its Terms of Service state that no refunds are given under the mentoring program and that results are not guaranteed. Separately, a Setmore booking page under his name lists one-off ecommerce and dropshipping consultation calls at $2,000 for one hour, $5,000 for two and a half hours and $10,000 for five hours.
On reputation: he has been interviewed by Shopify (Learn with Shopify and Shopify Masters, 2022) and by ecommerce software companies such as Debutify and sellerboard. He holds a profile in the Forbes Business Council, which is a paid membership network and not editorial coverage. A search of UK national press (BBC, The Guardian, The Telegraph, Manchester Evening News) run on September 14, 2026 returned no articles about him. A web search of ftc.gov on the same date found no FTC action under his name or the name The Ecom King. The mentorship site shows student results such as a Shopify dashboard with $7,042,738.43 in sales; the site itself labels these as student-reported figures that are not guarantees, and they have no independent verification. Not confirmed: his Instagram and TikTok audience, the number of students enrolled, and the current status of the clothing brands mentioned in older profiles.
