His own website presents him as an economist with an MBA from Tulane University and a specialization in the stock market and financial options, and states that he was born in Colombia. The same website credits him with more than twenty years of stock market experience; this is a claim from his promotional material, and we have not found an independent source documenting it. His age or year of birth does not appear in any public source we have been able to consult.

He is the author of the book "Crea tu Propia Riqueza: Descubre el mundo de las inversiones y aprende a invertir en la bolsa de valores", published in 2016 and available on Amazon with ISBN 9780997419900. His website describes it as an Amazon best seller in the money and finance category; that status depends on rankings that change hourly, and we have not been able to verify it independently.

What he sells. The paid product advertised on his channels is Seminario Creando Riqueza, a fully online seminar held over two days, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., with sixteen hours of live sessions. The edition current at the time this profile was written is scheduled for September 12 and 13, 2026. Registration includes access to the live stream of both days and to the recordings for seven days afterward. The curriculum listed on the page covers stock selection, when to buy and sell, ETFs and financial options. The purchase is completed directly on the seminar's page, with no sales call or prior admission process.

How much it costs. The price is published, which is not common for this type of training: $99 in the current offer, compared with a regular price of $495 that the same page presents as the undiscounted rate (read on September 9, 2026 at seminariocreandoriqueza.com). We have not found any other paid training of his with a published price, nor a mentorship program or subscription community advertised on his official channels.

Where he publishes. He runs a YouTube channel, @seminariocreandoriqueza, with 413,000 subscribers, and an Instagram account, @alejandrocardonascr, with 594,000 followers; both figures were read on September 9, 2026, and both channels link to seminariocreandoriqueza.com, which is what allows them to be attributed to him. His website also mentions a Facebook group with more than 19,000 students: this is his own figure, without external verification.

What is on record about his reputation. He has been interviewed by media outlets: Caracol Radio's 6AM W program published on its channel an interview titled "El mercado se repite: la recomendación del economista Alejandro Cardona para crear riqueza", and recordings of his appearances on Jaime Bayly's show dated 2023 are in circulation. These are guest appearances, not reporting on his educational business: we have not found any bylined journalistic work examining his seminars, their results or his students. As for registrations, a full-text search of EDGAR, the system of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, returns no documents with his name; FINRA's BrokerCheck registry lists several people named Alejandro Cardona, none of whom can be linked to him through a public source, so no registration of his appears there either. We have not found any public ruling, sanction or proceeding in his name or in the seminar's name.

What could not be confirmed. His age and year of birth are not on record. We have not been able to independently verify the Tulane University MBA, the more than twenty years of stock market experience, or the performance records mentioned on his website: all of it comes from his own material. It is also not on record which company operates the seminar or in which country it is incorporated, because the website does not publish accessible legal pages with that information, and there is no independent source on the actual number of students or the results they achieve.
