Dave Nick

Dave Nick is an online creator and course seller whose content centers on faceless YouTube automation: running channels built on voiceovers, scripts and outsourced editing rather than an on-camera host. His archived YouTube channel described him as the founder of Online Business Academy and DFY Dave. More recently his public material has shifted toward what he calls one-person businesses built with AI. His Skool profile, which he runs as the owner of his communities there, lists his location as Dubai, UAE. His age and birthplace are not stated on any of his official sites; several unofficial biography pages give a different legal name, a birth date and a country of origin, but none of them cites a source, so those details are not included here.

His businesses operate under two brands. Online Business Academy (onlinebusinessacademy.com) sells his courses and those of other instructors. DFY Dave (dfydave.com) sells done-for-you services such as channel setup, custom videos, channel reviews and Amazon affiliate websites, plus a coaching program. DFY Dave's refund policy names DN MEDIA INC, with an address in Sheridan, Wyoming, as the operating company. That address is commonly used by registered agents, so it does not show where he lives.

His main channel, @DaveNickOfficial, was removed from YouTube. As of September 14, 2026, the channel page shows YouTube's notice that it was removed for violating the Community Guidelines. In posts on X dated November 27, 2025, Dave Nick said the channel had about 1,000,000 subscribers. He also said YouTube's automated moderation had cited its dangerous content policy over "guaranteed returns" or pyramid scheme promotion, that he rejected this, and that his appeals were turned down. No public statement from YouTube about the case was found. The Online Business Automation Systems sales page still links to the removed channel. His Skool profile now links a different YouTube channel, One Person Business (@One-Person-Business), which links back to his Skool communities and showed 44,000 subscribers and 113 videos on September 14, 2026. The same profile links his Instagram account, @iamdavenick, which showed 31,000 followers on that date, and his X account, @iamdavenick. Online Business Friends, a free Skool community he runs, showed about 112,300 members on September 14, 2026.

On its sales pages, Online Business Academy lists Online Business Automation Systems 4.0 at $995. It is a 58-lecture course on YouTube traffic, content automation and monetization, and its bonuses include access to the membership. His paid Skool community, Online Business Club, showed a one-time price of $599 and 715 members on September 14, 2026, with a note that the price rises at 720 members; an Online Business Academy page still lists it at $499. DFY Dave lists YouTube Coaching with Dave Nick, a 90-day program with live group coaching calls, at $4,995. On the same date, its done-for-you YouTube automation package was marked sold out, with no price shown. Online Business Academy also offers a free course, YouTube Shorts Billions.

His sales pages make several claims about his own results, including revenue in the millions of dollars, billions of channel views and thousands of students. These figures come from his own promotional material and have not been independently verified. The published refund terms vary by product. DFY Dave's coaching can be refunded within 7 days if less than 10% of the content has been accessed. The Online Business Club Skool page promises a full refund if a member who has done the work does not make their first $1,000 within 90 days.

No independent press coverage of Dave Nick was found, and the articles that appear under his name are self-published posts on blogging platforms. No FTC action was found under the names Dave Nick, DN Media, DFY Dave or Online Business Academy in a search of ftc.gov on September 14, 2026. The Wyoming business registry record for DN MEDIA INC was not reviewed.
