Who is Elizabeth Filips?

Elizabeth Filips is a British YouTuber who makes videos about learning, note-taking, creativity, reading and productivity. Her YouTube channel describes her as "a doctor in London" who also hosts a podcast, writes and paints; earlier versions of her website described her as a medical student and painter, and podcast interviews from 2021 introduced her as a third-year medical student at King's College London. Her medical registration was not checked for this profile.

She started her YouTube channel on November 13, 2020. In a video published on her own Facebook page she presented herself as Ali Abdaal's personal assistant, a role she held alongside her medical studies at the time. She also runs the Feelosophy podcast, which has its own YouTube channel, and a free email newsletter titled "Strong Opinions, Loosely Held", which her website says reaches over 12,000 readers (a figure she publishes herself, with no independent source).

As of September 14, 2026, her main YouTube channel (@elizabethfilips) showed 977,000 subscribers, 135 videos and about 47 million views. The Feelosophy podcast channel, linked from her main channel, showed 35,500 subscribers.

What she sells today is a set of digital products on her Gumroad store (lizziefilips.gumroad.com), linked from her website. The largest is Organised Chaos: Book Bundle ($35), which her store page describes as an ebook guide, a Notion template and an audiobook about a motivation-led approach to work and productivity in place of habits and discipline. The Psychological Handbook of Behaviour Change ($15) is a template that, according to its product page, draws on CBT, solution-focused brief therapy and intersubjectivity to help buyers change their behaviour. Smaller products include the Skill-Setting Guide: How to NOT Quit Everything You Start ($10), the Second Life Exercise yearly reset template ($10), the Mental Hygiene Template: Self-CBT for Overthinkers ($5) and the "Speed-Date Yourself" values exercise ($5). A note-taking template, Elizabeth's Book Notes Formula, is free. Several of these products are built on specific videos from her channel. The "self-CBT" and "self-therapy" templates are self-help exercises; their product pages do not present them as clinical treatment.

She previously ran a paid live course, the MUSE Knowledge Management Course: six two-hour Zoom lessons over three weeks for $399, with a money-back guarantee. Its page on her website still says the first cohort, planned for January and February 2022, sold out, and points to a mailing list for a second cohort. No open enrollment for MUSE was found on September 14, 2026, so it is not listed as a current product.

On reputation: the coverage located about her consists of podcast interviews (KharmaKast, March 2021; Dream, Girl) rather than press reporting. Her website and channels do not name a company behind her products, and a UK Companies House search on September 14, 2026 did not turn up any company that those channels identify as hers. No regulatory action or court ruling in her name was located in that search or in the web searches made for this profile. There are no independent figures on how many people have bought her products.
