Who is Matt Ragland?

Matt Ragland is an American YouTuber and productivity educator based in Nashville, Tennessee. According to his own website he grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, graduated from the University of Florida in 2006 and moved to Black Mountain, North Carolina, in 2009, where he worked at a summer camp. His date of birth is not published in any source reviewed.

Before working for himself he was employee number five at ConvertKit, which he joined in 2015 in customer success, and later Director of Customer Success at the course platform Podia, which he left in October 2020, according to interviews with the Creator Science podcast (December 2020) and Nathan Barry (August 2021). He announced the first day of Matt Ragland, LLC on X in November 2020. In his 2023 year-in-review post he describes running Automatic Evergreen, a newsletter writing service for creators, and being a managing partner at Good People Digital; his Kit profile page lists him as Director of Content and Community at HeyCreator.

He publishes on YouTube, where his channel had about 116,000 subscribers when checked on September 16, 2026. The channel started in February 2017 and centers on bullet journaling, weekly planning and time management. He also hosts the Connect the Dots podcast and sends an email newsletter.

He sells his courses through a Podia storefront (mattragland.podia.com). The main current offer is Most Productive Week Ever [LIVE], a $49 workshop with 22 lessons, a printable planner and Notion templates; its sales page says there are no refunds because most of it is delivered live, except for buyers who joined no live session. The storefront also lists Full Cycle Productivity [Self-Guided Edition] at $297 (or two monthly payments of $177), with eight core lessons and monthly member Q&A calls; Build a Journaling Habit at $97; Bullet Journal Basics at $20; the Sketchnote Starter Course at $27; The $1K Course Blueprint at $150, a course on building and launching a first online course; and Ship Your First 10 Videos on YouTube at $98. All showed an active Buy now button on September 16, 2026, although the YouTube course page still describes a cohort that started on September 20, 2021.

The revenue and sales figures that circulate about him come from his own statements: in the 2021 interview with Nathan Barry he said courses and coaching made up 60 to 70 percent of his income, and the $1K Course Blueprint page says he had sold $100,000 in products by 2021. No independent source confirms these figures.

On reputation, the coverage found consists of interviews and podcast appearances in which he is the guest, not independent reporting about his business. No FTC action was found under the name Matt Ragland, searched on ftc.gov on September 16, 2026. His Tennessee LLC could not be checked in the state business registry for this profile.

Not confirmed: the dates of the next live sessions of Most Productive Week Ever, the current price of his one-to-one coaching, and a course called Analog Action that appears under his name only on unauthorized course-download sites and not on any of his own pages.
