Who is No Nonsense Forex?

No Nonsense Forex, often shortened to NNFX, is a forex trading education brand run by a trader who presents himself as VP. On the brand's About page he writes that his real name is Patrick, that he has traded forex since 2009 and that in 2014 a proprietary trading firm hired him on the strength of his returns; the firm is not named and there is no independent confirmation of that employment. His course sales page and the Amazon listing of his book credit the book's author as Patrick Victor; no source states whether that is his legal full name or a pen name.

The brand consists of the nononsenseforex.com website, the No Nonsense Forex YouTube channel (@NoNonsenseForex), the Forex Q&A podcast hosted on Podbean and Apple Podcasts, an X account (@This_Is_VP4X) and a Discord server linked from the site. The YouTube channel showed 306K subscribers and 689 videos when read on September 14, 2026. The channel and website are known for a rules-based approach to building an indicator-based trading system; VP states that all of his YouTube material is free and will stay free. He has also appeared as a guest on other traders' podcasts, including an interview on the Trading Nut podcast (episode 21), which the site collects on a "Conversations With VP" page.

His paid offer is a Trading Psychology Course sold through the No Nonsense Courses site (nononsense.courses), with checkout handled by Whop. On the nononsenseforex.com course page he writes that he condensed 55+ hours of psychology material from his channel and podcast into a course of about 10 hours; the sales page lists "10+ Hours of Material" and says in its FAQ that the course is aimed at discretionary (manual) traders rather than traders running automated systems. The price is not shown on the sales page or on the nononsenseforex.com course page, and the Whop checkout did not display it when read without an account, so no price is given here. The sales page FAQ states that he does not offer one-on-one coaching for individuals at present. He is also the author of the book No Nonsense Forex Trading Psychology, sold on Amazon in Kindle format.

The nononsenseforex.com course page also points readers to a technical analysis and money management course that is not his: it was created by Dan Stone of Stonehill Forex as a condensed version of the NNFX YouTube videos, with VP's permission, and is sold on the Stonehill Forex site.

On reputation, the sales page shows star ratings of 4.7 out of 5 next to the YouTube channel and 4.9 out of 5 next to the book, without saying where those ratings come from; they are the brand's own marketing, not independent reviews. No press coverage by a named outlet was located beyond podcast interviews. VP presents himself as a trader and educator, not as an investment adviser; a FINRA BrokerCheck search for "Patrick Victor" on September 14, 2026 returned no registered individual with that first and last name. Whether Patrick Victor is his full legal name, his city or country of residence, the prop firm he says he trades for and the course price could not be confirmed from public sources.

Frequently asked questions about No Nonsense Forex

Who is VP from No Nonsense Forex?

VP is the trader behind No Nonsense Forex. On the brand's About page he says his real name is Patrick, that he has traded forex since 2009 and that a prop trading firm hired him in 2014. His book is credited to Patrick Victor on Amazon and on his course sales page; no source confirms whether that is his full legal name. The prop firm is not named and his location is not stated in his own channels.

How much does the No Nonsense Forex trading psychology course cost?

The price is not published on the nononsense.courses sales page or on the nononsenseforex.com course page, and the Whop checkout did not show it without logging in (checked September 14, 2026). VP describes the course as about 10 hours of material condensed from 55+ hours of channel and podcast content.

Is the NNFX algorithm and system content free?

Yes, according to VP: he states that all of his YouTube material is free and will always be free. The paid products are the Trading Psychology Course and his Kindle book. A separate condensed course of the NNFX videos is sold by Dan Stone of Stonehill Forex, not by VP.

Does VP offer one-on-one coaching?

Not currently for individuals, according to the FAQ on the No Nonsense Courses sales page, which adds that anyone taking coaching in the future would need to complete the course first.

Is No Nonsense Forex legit?

What can be checked: the channel has 306K YouTube subscribers (September 14, 2026), the course is sold openly through Whop, and VP has been interviewed on trading podcasts such as Trading Nut. His prop firm employment and trading results are his own statements with no independent verification. The star ratings on his sales page (4.7 for the channel, 4.9 for the book) do not name a source. No FINRA BrokerCheck registration under Patrick Victor was found (searched September 14, 2026); he does not present himself as a licensed adviser.
