Devon Canup

Devon Canup is a YouTube creator and entrepreneur who teaches how to build "faceless" YouTube channels: channels without an on-camera host, where scripting, voice-over and editing are typically outsourced. The niche is often marketed as "YouTube automation". He is the founder of Become Viral, operated as BecomeViral LLC, and of its main program, Faceless Channel Academy (FCA).

His company's About page, read in September 2026, says he was working in a warehouse at 23, launched his first faceless channel in the finance niche, and states that he is 27. On The Wantrepreneur Show (episode 1105, May 3, 2025) he said he studied computer science and had been in business for eight years. The descriptions of his own YouTube channel say he has been building businesses since 2017. The timelines in these sources do not fully match: the About page dates the academy's launch to 2024, while a post on his X account from January 2024 says he had already raised the program's price during 2023.

He publishes on YouTube under his own name (@Canup, about 15,500 subscribers, country listed as United States, joined June 3, 2020), and his channel features two related channels, "Canup of Become Viral" (@BecomeViralMedia, about 7,220 subscribers) and "Canup Files" (@CanupFiles, about 13,500 subscribers). His largest audience is on TikTok (@devoncnp, about 270,800 followers). Figures were read on September 14, 2026. He is also active on X as @devoncnp and runs a Facebook group called YouTube Automators, linked from the Become Viral YouTube channel. According to his company's site, he also operates faceless channels himself, naming Across the Globe and Nutty History; those channels were not checked for this profile.

Faceless Channel Academy is a coaching program. Its site lists a video curriculum, one-on-one coaching, daily coaching calls, weekly group calls or masterclasses, a private community, an archive of recorded calls and lifetime access to course updates. There is no checkout page: access goes through a free "strategy call" with an FCA advisor. Price information on the sales pages sits in the FAQ of the company's review page, which lists tuition of $6,800 to $8,000. The terms of service say fees are explained during the strategy call, payment plans may be available, and refund terms are set out in the enrollment agreement at purchase; that agreement is not public.

The business figures in circulation come from his own material and have no independent source: the company's site claims $8M+ in lifetime revenue, 1,200+ students and $42M+ generated by students, while the May 2025 podcast episode mentions over 400 students coached and channels earning "$70K+ per month". The site's own earnings disclaimer says the income examples shown represent exceptional outcomes and are not typical. The terms of service are governed by Florida law.

As for reputation, no independent press coverage beyond podcast interviews was found. No FTC action was found under the names Devon Canup or BecomeViral in a search of ftc.gov run on September 14, 2026. The Florida corporate registry (Sunbiz) could not be consulted on that date because its search page did not load, so the registration details of BecomeViral LLC and his role in it remain unconfirmed.
