Who is Jaspreet Singh?

Jaspreet Singh is an American personal finance creator best known for Minority Mindset, the YouTube channel and social media brand he runs on money, investing and the economy. The Minority Mindset website describes him as a serial entrepreneur, a licensed attorney and the CEO of Briefs Finance. In a November 2021 interview with The White Coat Investor he said he was born in Michigan to parents from Punjab, India, that he attended law school part-time, and that he has never practiced law. His name is shared by many other people, including several unrelated finance professionals, so this profile only covers the person linked to Minority Mindset.

His companies, as named in their own copyright notices, are Minority Mindset, LLC, which runs theminoritymindset.com, and Briefs Media, LLC, which operates Briefs Finance. Briefs Finance's About page calls it a Detroit-based financial technology company "powered by media, not a money management firm". According to The White Coat Investor interview, the brand began as a $7 Udemy course on launching a business and grew into Instagram and YouTube channels after a sock company he had started did not work out.

The Minority Mindset YouTube channel showed 2.52 million subscribers when read on September 16, 2026. The Minority Mindset website also links official Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X and LinkedIn accounts; those counts were not recorded here.

His main paid product is Briefs Pro, an investing research membership sold at $699 per year or $99 per month on its checkout page, with a 30-day money-back guarantee. The sales page lists weekly Market Briefs Pro reports, three monthly research reports (income, growth and wealth preservation), the Briefs Score, Briefs AI and Briefs Terminal tools, a model portfolio update, a private community and all six courses ("Journeys") of Briefs Academy, the company's on-demand investing education library. No separate current price for Briefs Academy was found; older pages that sold it on its own now redirect. Free material includes the Market Briefs daily newsletter and Climb to Wealth, a 21-day starter Journey. Briefs Pro states that it is for informational purposes only and is not financial advice.

On reputation, the documented public record centers on the FTX litigation. In March 2023 he was one of several finance YouTubers named in a class action in the Southern District of Florida over paid promotions of the FTX crypto exchange, as TechCrunch reported on March 16, 2023. The case became part of the FTX multidistrict litigation in Miami (In re FTX Cryptocurrency Exchange Collapse Litigation, No. 1:23-md-03076, S.D. Fla.). In an order dated May 7, 2025, Judge K. Michael Moore dismissed most counts against the celebrity and YouTuber defendants without prejudice, let the Florida and Oklahoma securities claims proceed at the pleading stage, and gave plaintiffs leave to amend. Plaintiffs filed an amended complaint on May 28, 2025, and on July 28, 2025 Singh joined the promoter defendants' motion to dismiss it or compel arbitration (ECF No. 951). Unlike several other YouTubers named in the same suit, including Graham Stephan, he is not among the defendants whose settlements the court has preliminarily approved. As of September 16, 2026, the docket showed that motion still pending, with no ruling on it and no finding of liability against him. A search of FINRA BrokerCheck and the SEC's IAPD on September 16, 2026 returned seven records under the name Jaspreet Singh, none tied to Briefs Media or Minority Mindset, and no firm records for either company.

Not confirmed: his date of birth, the state bar where he is licensed, independent figures on the number of Briefs Pro members (the sales page claims more than 12,400 members), and how the court will rule on the pending motion to dismiss in the FTX case.
