Grant Sabatier is an American author and online publisher known for writing about financial independence. According to Wikipedia, he was born on December 13, 1984, in Falls Church, Virginia, and studied philosophy at the University of Chicago. His own account, repeated by CNBC in January 2019, is that in 2010, at age 24, he had $2.26 in his bank account and reached more than $1 million saved about five years later through side businesses and investing; those figures come from him and have no independent verification.
He started the Millennial Money website in 2015. The Motley Fool announced its acquisition of the site on October 19, 2020; according to the Millennial Money about page, he bought it back in July 2022 through MMG Media Group, a company he co-founded and where his website lists him as CEO. His website also lists him as owner of Clintonville Books, and Wikipedia adds Columbus Rare Books.
