Public record: a Government of Canada news release dated April 30, 2014 reports that Greg Austin Doucette, 38, of Halifax, was sentenced in Halifax Provincial Court on three charges under the Customs Act and the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act related to importing and distributing anabolic steroids, following a Canada Border Services Agency investigation that began in August 2012. The sentence was a 20-month conditional sentence order, probation and a $50,000 fine. The release does not mention bodybuilding. Canadian Cycling Magazine (November 9, 2018) identifies the person in that case as the bodybuilder who won the heavyweight division at the 2012 Canadian Nationals and earned an IFBB Pro card, and reports that the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport imposed an eight-year sanction on him for refusing to provide a doping sample at the Tour of Keji cycling race in May 2018, treated as a second violation. According to the same article, he represented himself at the hearing and argued he did not intend to cheat and that the length of the ban was unfair; the arbitrator did not accept those arguments.
No FTC action under his name was found in a web search including ftc.gov results, searched on September 13, 2026. The company Coach Greg Inc. could not be checked on OpenCorporates, which returned a verification page. Mentor Explorer did not locate independent reviews or press evaluations of his coaching programs or cookbooks.
