Who is Luke Belmar?

Luke Belmar is the public name of Lucas Emanuel Uria Theis, as stated in federal court filings where he appears as "Lucas Emanuel Uria Theis, a.k.a. Luke Belmar". He is an entrepreneur and online creator who talks about e-commerce, cryptocurrency and wealth building. According to a GOBankingRates profile by Kristopher Kane (April 27, 2024, republished by Yahoo Finance), he grew up in a small village in Argentina, moved to the United States at 16 and worked manual jobs before turning to dropshipping, e-commerce and, from 2017, crypto investing. The same article reports a net worth of $42 million; that figure comes from his own statements in an interview and has no independent source. His date of birth has not been found in a public source.

He is listed as "Founder of Capital Club" on the club's official website, which is operated by Capital Club LLC. A complaint he filed in December 2025 describes Capital Club LLC as a Wyoming company with its principal place of business in Puerto Rico, and states that he also founded Ecom Society LLC, described there as an e-commerce education platform, and DBH Digital LLC, which does business as Gem Hunters, a cryptocurrency education platform. The Gem Hunters website names him as its founder.

His YouTube channel (@LukeBelmarX), which links to his X account @lukebelmar, had 449,000 subscribers when checked on September 14, 2026. Its RSS feed shows the most recent upload, titled "The end of phase one", on September 23, 2023. Much of his visibility comes from guest appearances on podcasts and interview channels, such as the Jack Neel Podcast.

Capital Club is sold as an annual membership. Its terms of service describe an annual membership that renews automatically and can be cancelled, a full refund within 14 days of payment, and course materials for personal educational use. The website describes VIP dinners, summits, mastermind sessions, financial reports and networking, and claims more than 15,000 members in more than 73 countries; that number is the company's own claim. The official site does not show a price and sends members to a login page, so the current fee could not be confirmed. Prices for Capital Club that appear on third-party review and course-resale sites were not used.

Gem Hunters has a free group and a Premium tier that costs 1 ETH per year according to its website, payable in crypto or by card. Premium includes private lobbies with every trading call, livestreams with its analyst team and "Gem Academy" courses and guides. The site names BloFin as its "official trading partner" and publishes its own figures for win rates and member profits; none of these figures has been independently verified.

On reputation, the main public record is a dispute with his former business associate Tan Boon Kiat (Steve Tan). On September 11, 2025, Tan filed a federal civil lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Wyoming (Tan Boon Kiat v. Theis, No. 2:25-cv-00214) against Belmar, Capital Club LLC and another defendant, alleging misrepresentation and related claims over the control and finances of the Capital Club business. These are allegations and have not been decided by the court. Belmar's lawyers entered appearances in October 2025. The CourtListener docket shows a motion to stay the case and a mediation entry on August 25, 2026, and no termination date as of September 14, 2026. On December 9, 2025, Belmar, Capital Club LLC, Ecom Society LLC and DBH Digital LLC sued Tan for defamation and tortious interference in the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico (Theis v. Tan, No. 3:25-cv-01661). That complaint denies that Tan was ever an owner or partner of Capital Club LLC and says the Wyoming suit was filed to cause reputational harm. The docket shows notices of voluntary dismissal and a judgment entered on August 31, 2026. The text of those orders was not publicly available, so the terms of how that case ended could not be confirmed.

No individual registered under "Luke Belmar" or "Lucas Theis" appears in FINRA BrokerCheck, and an SEC EDGAR full-text search for "Belmar" together with "Capital Club" returned no filings; both were searched on September 14, 2026. Web searches for his name together with the words lawsuit and news on September 13, 2026 did not find coverage of the lawsuit in major U.S. newspapers; the reports found were on crypto news sites and social media, which are not cited here.
