Founder and CEO of Warrior Trading, a Massachusetts-based day trading education company that sells trading courses, chat rooms and simulator access. In 2022 he and the company settled an FTC case over earnings claims for $3 million.
Ross Cameron is an American day trader and the founder and CEO of Warrior Trading, a company that sells day trading education, trading chat rooms and trading software. According to his own account on Tire Kickers, a separate personal project, he was born and raised in Vermont, opened his first brokerage account in 2001 and started Warrior Trading in 2012 as a blog about learning to day trade, adding a chat room in 2014. The Berkshire Eagle reported in April 2022 that he was 37, had moved from Vermont to Alford, Massachusetts, in 2018, and that the company operates from Railroad Street in Great Barrington, Massachusetts.
The business is run through Warrior Trading, Inc. and Warrior Operating Inc. (doing business as Warrior Trading), the two corporate defendants named alongside him in the 2022 FTC case. He publishes on the YouTube channel "Ross Cameron - Warrior Trading" (@DaytradeWarrior), which showed 2.11 million subscribers when read on September 13, 2026. He is also the author of the book "How to Day Trade" (2015), later republished as "How to Day Trade: The Plain Truth".
Warrior Trading sells tiered memberships. Official checkout pages list a Warrior Starter monthly renewal at $197, which includes the Starter classes and chat room access with scanners but not the simulator, and two non-renewing trials: a 14-day trial for $19 and a 30-day trial with simulator for $196. The top membership, Warrior Pro, gives access to the full course library; its price could not be read from an official page because warriortrading.com returned HTTP 403 to every request on September 13, 2026, so no price is given here. The trial page states that the purpose of the trial is not to trade profitably within the trial period but to explore the community and tools.
According to his own site Tire Kickers, Cameron grew a $583.15 account to more than $10 million in trading profits, supported by an independent accountant's audit that he publishes; the same page describes his results as not typical. No other independent verification of that figure was located.
On April 19, 2022, the Federal Trade Commission filed a complaint in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts (Case No. 3:22-cv-30048) against Warrior Trading, Inc., Warrior Operating Inc. and Ross Cameron. The FTC alleged that the defendants made deceptive earnings claims, in violation of the FTC Act and the Telemarketing Sales Rule, to sell day trading programs that generated tens of millions of dollars between 2018 and 2021, and that most customer accounts lost money. The defendants settled without admitting or denying the allegations. The stipulated order enters a $3,000,000 monetary judgment against Cameron and both companies jointly, requires them to pay it, and bans unsubstantiated earnings claims and misrepresentations about how successful purchasers are. In January 2023 the FTC announced it had sent more than $2.9 million in refunds to 20,402 consumers. As reported by The Berkshire Eagle, the company responded in a statement that Cameron had shown an uncommon level of transparency by publishing his broker statements and that day trading is not a quick way to get rich.

What can be verified: he runs an operating company that sells courses and memberships, and he states that an accountant audited his own trading results. On the record is also the 2022 FTC settlement, in which the complaint alleged that most customer accounts lost money. Mentor Explorer does not issue a verdict.
On the public record there is the FTC case of 2022 and its coverage in The Berkshire Eagle, which included the company's statement defending its transparency.
